Are you a dynamic and detail oriented Medical Front Desk Specialist who is looking to grow their skills and join a fast paced office with a large health system?  We are looking for a candidate who has an ability to support patients with excellent customer service, scheduling appointments and greeting patients. This position would be an in-office position located in Alpharetta, GA with a Monday thru Friday 9:30am-7pm) 

salary: $39,000 - $39,520 per year

work hours: 9:30 AM - 7 PM

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to online requests promptly and professionally
• Schedule patient appointments with multiple providers and schedule follow-up visits
• Confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed 
• Insurance verification 
• Patient registration for multiple provider appointments 
• High volume patient check in 
• Managing new patient registration and existing patient registration at time of appointment 
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information during appointment scheduling
• Enter patient data accurately into EPIC, our electronic health record (EHR) system
• Ensure that patient records are kept confidential and in compliance with all HIPAA regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and appointment requests in a courteous and empathetic manner
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with patients both in person and over the phone
