Randstad is looking for a customer focused Administrative Assistant to support the operations for a manufacturing facility in Peachtree City.  This position not only supports the logistic functions at the company, but also some light accounting to include collections from vendors and updating vendors on their shipping status. You must be able to communicate professionally by phone and via email.  A positive attitude is a MUST HAVE in this role and a genuine desire to provide the clients with the best service possible. salary: $48,000 - $63,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and collecting quotes for manufacturing customers
• Entering timelines and task dates for machine projects 
• Tracking incoming machine freight orders, both domestic and international
• Assisting in receipt and shipment of parts
• Maintaining warehouse capacity schedule
• Configuring and placing machine orders to international headquarters
• Organizing meetings and preparing the agenda for the meeting
• Calendar management for shipping/receiving and the Operations Manager
• Creating forms for customers
• Managing collections, including contacting customers to follow up on overdue invoices
• Processing RMAs by recording and accounting for both returns from our customers and our returns back to HQ
• Adding and updating customer profile information as needed
• Checking the credit hold status of customers for the service department and sending copies of invoices upon request.
• Scheduling and collecting quotes for machine freight shipments to customers
