Responsibilities
- Customer Service Skills: The ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner is key.
- Communication Skills: Being able to clearly explain exhibits, engage with visitors, and answer questions about the museum.
- Attention to Detail: For tasks like dusting, setting up events, and maintaining the museum's appearance, a strong eye for detail is important.
- Organizational Skills: Helping with event setup and maintaining a clean and organized space requires good planning and organization.
- Multitasking: Balancing different tasks, like interacting with visitors while performing cleaning and event preparations, requires the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic Cleaning Skills: Familiarity with light cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean environment.
- History/Art Knowledge (Optional but Helpful): While not always necessary, some knowledge of the museum’s exhibits or historical figures could enhance the guest experience.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to handle unexpected situations or guest inquiries with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
- Physical Stamina: The job may require standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks like setting up or cleaning.
