This role will partner with multiple business units by providing forecasts, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Responsibilities

• Helps prepare and review the annual forecast/budgeting process for the business units with a focus on cost of goods sold and transportation
• Audit carrier invoicing
• Route utilization and pricing models
• Truck optimization analysis
• Less than truck load revenue analysis
• Analyze procurement spend and rate variances to budget
• Review cost of goods sold variances and pull out key drivers
• Build and maintain budget and forecast templates
• Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis for use by managers to evaluate their businesses, including industry benchmarking
• Ability to work with large sets of data from multiple data sources (General ledger, Excel) to identify trends/variances
• Collects/organizes financial application information and inputs into financial budgeting/forecasting model
• Reviews capital request submissions to help control and maintain integrity in capital spend allocation
• Facilitates the annual capital plan and supports the annual capital presentation
• Possess organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Work with Accounting department to ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements (facilitate A/P, analyze GL account activity, prepare or review other supporting documentation)
• Work with data analytics team to navigate tables and generate applicable relationships
