Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of 3D Models (SolidWorks), project bills of materials, drawing packages, and related project
documentation.
Initiating Projects for prototyping including building prototypes using sketches or samples
Review of designs or prototypes with shop / sub-contractors for Fit Form and Function
Review of designs or prototypes with customers and recording of all change requests
Reverse engineer supplied designs from physical samples, or drawings.
Resolve product design and quality issues.
Learn, recognize, and apply standard designs and customer standards as applicable
Work on multiple projects and tasks at various stages of development concurrently
Manage time effectively to achieve deadlines
Support and communicate with Production Control, Project & Program Manage, Manufacturing teams, and Customers as required
Support quoting and purchasing activities as required
Provide complete information to Production Control, Project & Program Manager, Manufacturing teams, and Customers as required.
Provide inputs to ongoing scheduling and task management activities
Provide support to production and Quality Control departments
Preparation and maintenance of all required Project Documentation
Prepare quality check sheets
Assist with fixture development
Review and Approval of 1 st articles at Pakfab or subcontractor’s facility – release of projects for full production
Assist production is solving issues which arise during production
