Responsibilities
- Demonstrates exceptional professionalism and delivers outstanding customer service
- Gathers and verifies patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy
- Confirms insurance details and collects copays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances
- Ensures all patient intake forms are fully signed and completed
- Responds to patient inquiries via multiline phone lines, messaging portals, and email/fax
- Schedules appointments and processes medical record requests according to policy and procedures
- Coordinates with clinical staff to ensure an optimal patient experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medical office
