- Manage litigated claims involving disputes over coverage, liability, and damages.
- Work in partnership with defense counsel and field adjusters to develop and execute resolution strategies.
- Handle high-severity cases involving significant injuries with values exceeding $500K.
- Analyze legal and medical documentation, conduct depositions, and oversee discovery.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation to minimize litigation costs.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, case law, and jurisdictional nuances.
- Maintain adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
- 5-8 years of experience handling litigated Auto Bodily Injury (ABI) claims within an insurance carrier.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation with large exposure cases.
- strong knowledge of jurisdictional laws, bad faith claims, and negotiation strategies.
