Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Forecast production requirements and allocate resources accordingly.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and optimize the use of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Control production costs and maintain budget adherence.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and motivate production staff.
- Train and mentor employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive and safe working environment.
- Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety in the production area.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
