Responsibilities
The Sales Representative sells health products to new prospects and to existing members by providing them
information to help select the most appropriate health plan for their needs. The Sales Representative handles
inbound calls and makes outbound calls to follow up with prospects and existing members.
Sales Representative should:
- Meet/set daily, weekly, and monthly sales and quality goals.
- Pass the State Health License Exam.
- Maintain State Health License along with Continuing Education requirements.
- Articulate details of all plans and guidelines offered by FBHP and partnering state plans.
- Articulate and communicate well over the phone.
- Have a team mentality by demonstrating punctuality, teamwork, and respectfulness to co-workers and Leadership.
- Assist applicants in enrolling in a health plan that is best suited to their needs and implementing the guidelines that go along with this process.
- Proficient in required Sales department computer programs.
- Adhere to CMS guidelines.
- Work overtime including weekends, as required by management.
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of health insurance industry.
