Randstad is currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist.  The position is 100% in office and is located in the East End of Louisville.  Pay will be between $20-$23/hour and will work 7 hours per day. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Accounting is preferred but can be supplemented by work experience At least 2 years of payroll experience Knowledge of basic accounting principles MS Office experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned external agencies regarding FMA services for their participants.
  
  
• Verify and review biweekly employee time entries through the online system, working with staff and external case management agencies to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
  
  
• Set up and maintain employee records in the online portal, entering payroll details such as name, Social Security number, direct deposit information, and other required data.
  
  
• Manage participant budget information, ensuring the accuracy of prior authorization data and collaborating with staff to resolve discrepancies.
  
  
• Enter employee contract and budget details, ensuring pay rates align correctly with the designated level of care.
  
  
• Establish new client accounts by inputting relevant data into the system, applying for federal ID numbers via the IRS website, and accurately submitting 2678 forms. Maintain digital records for future reference.
