Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, job duties include:
- Oversee and coordinate the execution of lab-of-the-future projects across four key workstreams (Operational Excellence, Test Method Automation/Remediation, Compliance, and Digital).
- Provide consistent and clear communication of project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain financial spend oversight, providing plan vs. actual reporting and budget management for all projects.
- Conduct resource capacity analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation and identify potential gaps.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, SmartSheet), business communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI), and Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to manage and report on project progress.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on pharmaceutical laboratory science.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate teams, and ensure the on-time delivery of project objectives.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SmartSheet), communication tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI), and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and technologies, particularly in the context of pharmaceutical development and testing.
- Experience with digital transformation or automation projects within laboratory environments.
