We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized AR Treasury Assistant for a contract position in Richmond. This is an on-site position, M-F, working 40 hours per week. This position requires great communication skills as you will be contacting customers regarding lockbox changes and other items. 

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers to validate and update their company information to ensure accuracy in the company’s lockbox system.
  
  
• Communicate any changes in lockbox procedures or address changes to customers in a clear and timely manner.
  
  
• Identify and monitor uncleared checks within the AR department’s accounts.
  
  
• Reach out to customers to confirm the status of uncleared checks, determining if the payment can be processed or if a replacement check needs to be issued.
  
  
• Follow up with customers to resolve any discrepancies or delays in check clearance in a professional and courteous manner.
  
  
• Coordinate with the Treasury team to ensure smooth processing of payments and accurate tracking of checks.
  
  
• Partner with the AR department to resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring that accounts are properly credited.
  
  
• Provide timely updates to relevant internal stakeholders on the status of customer accounts, particularly in relation to lockbox changes and uncleared checks.
