salary: $37,440 - $41,600 per year

Responsibilities

• Post payments for Medicare, Medicaid, and various other insurance carriers
• Address and resolve delinquent insurance reports.
• Investigate, correct, and manage insurance rejections and zero payments.
• Generate and process relevant reports using internal system.
• Prepare and submit appeals, file corrected claims, and resolve denials.
• Input charges into the computer system, validate authorization numbers, and apply charges.
• Review and manage delinquent insurance reports and follow up as needed.
• Review and rectify insurance audit trails to ensure accuracy.
• Respond to and follow up on patient billing and insurance inquiries.
• Process credit card payments and handle patient billing-related calls
• MUST be comfortable working independently, heavy outbound calls, and performing collections 
• MUST have prior experience with government and private insurance
