Responsibilities

Support the Living Benefits Insurance Claims Processing Department with multiple activities to ensure timely issuance of accurate benefit payments to customers

• Input information received from multiple channels
• Research and seek out missing information 
• Process the claim payment
• Document activities and conversations in the system of record
• Manage multiple claims in multiple stages from intake to payment
• Be aware of potential fraud and mitigate fraud
• Provide effective, customer-centric, and compliant communication to internal and external resources, clients, and partners
• Adjudicate payments in compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable law, engaging legal, medical, and investigative resources as necessary
• Maintain accurate and complete payment records
