Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- General Ledger Management: Record daily financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices and customer payments; manage aging reports to ensure timely collections and disbursements.
- Bank & Account Reconciliations: Complete monthly reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Inventory Accounting: Work with the inventory team to ensure accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting of product inventory.
- Expense Management: Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring accurate classification across departments.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations; support both internal and external audits.
- Intercompany Reconciliations: Reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure alignment and accuracy across departments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams such as marketing, product development, and sales to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
