Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the daily shipping and fulfillment operations, including receiving, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Package and ship all products by delivery service and/or commercial carrier.
- Use carrier systems (FedEx & UPS) to fulfill shipments of orders.
- Document shipments with tracking numbers using the internal manufacturing system.
- Receive raw materials or other packages delivered by truck or other method and disburse to appropriate departments.
- Operate forklift to load/unload products/supplies.
- Collaborate with others to address and resolve any fulfillment or shipping issues.
- Ensure that all shipping processes are streamlined and meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Oversee relationships with shipping carriers and third-party logistics providers, negotiating rates and managing contracts.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) related to shipping and fulfillment and take action to meet or exceed targets.
- Handle and resolve shipping discrepancies, order errors, and returns in a timely manner.
