Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and customers regarding mortgage-related claims, including loss mitigation, insurance claims, and escrow issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers, mortgage servicers, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to resolve claims and inquiries.
- Review and process claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and providing status updates on claims.
- Document all customer interactions, claims processing activities, and resolutions in the company’s customer management system.
- Assist with researching and resolving discrepancies or issues related to claims or accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and processing teams, to ensure efficient claims management.
- Stay current with industry regulations, policies, and best practices to maintain compliance and provide accurate information to customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
