We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our client's finance team in Pendergrass, GA for 2+ months. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Input Accounts Payable Vendor Invoices into Accounts Payable System.
• Work with Purchasing and Vendors to resolve invoicing issues.
• Provide copies of invoices related to sales and use tax to Accounting Specialist for the sales tax return.
• Provide copies of invoices related to Capital Asset purchases to Accounting Specialist for input into the fixed asset system.
• Maintain files containing vendor invoices, packing slips, and other paperwork for record retention purposes.
• Scan paperwork into network drive for long term storage.
• Provide invoices to be accrued to Accounting Specialist for entries.
• Generate and validate weekly payment runs for accuracy, generate ACH payments and check payments.
• Settle lntercompany and Wire Transfer transactions as instructed by Accounting Specialist.
• Generate Customer invoices in Billing System.
• Work with customers to resolve billing issues.
• Apply cash received to invoices.
