Responsibilities

• Accountable for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks related to unclaimed property/escheatment
• Manage the unclaimed property portfolio
• Execute multiple operational functions related to the processing and researching of unclaimed property
• Prepare and file escheatment reports with vendors
• Report and transfer the proper funds to the appropriate state agencies
• Audit reporting for accuracy
• Maintain detailed logs, records, and reports of unclaimed property
• Ensure all communication is documented 
• Liaise with internal departments, state agencies, property owners, and banks
• Reconcile unclaimed property general ledger accounts
• Retrieve and format data imported from states and NAIC for weekly END scan with the end result of locating insurance policies for constituents
• Conduct research to locate owners of unclaimed property through various databases and researching out via email/phone to multiple sources
