Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Perform manual and automated laboratory tasks supporting targeted library creation for SKIM Sequencing and Sequence Capture workflows.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab automation and other technical equipment.
- Follow standard workflows and utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for sample tracking and processing.
- Collaborate with a team of scientists and technicians to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Participate in lab maintenance tasks, autonomous care of equipment, and process improvement efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years in a lab or fast-paced technical environment.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with LIMS or high-throughput sample processing is a bonus.
