Responsibilities
-Set up new hire profiles in HRIS, conduct background checks, prepare onboarding packets, and track task completion.
-Work closely with IT, Security, and leadership to onboard/offboard employees and contractors. Lead benefits overviews and I-9 meetings, and complete E-Verify.
-Process employee updates such as manager changes, compensation updates, and bulk uploads during the merit cycle.
-Manage benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, COBRA administration, and required documentation.
-Respond to HR email inquiries including onboarding, benefits, employment verifications, leave, and finance-related questions.
-Support evaluations and implementation of new HR systems and audit employee terminations for accuracy.
-Track and process employee leaves, communicate with employees, and coordinate payroll adjustments with Accounting.
-Conduct regular audits for compliance such as payroll reports, background checks, and system access. Manage required reporting.
-Help document processes, analyze exit surveys, support compensation research, and assist with recruiting efforts.
