Randstad is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for our client in Hauppauge, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with electronics buying experience and leadership expertise to oversee and lead the purchasing department. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of at least 3 purchasing professionals
  
  
• Oversee the procurement of electronic components, materials, and supplies
  
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  
  
• Manage inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
  
  
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  
  
• Monitor and report on purchasing performance and department goals
  
  
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to align procurement with manufacturing needs
