We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our client's manufacturing operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and the capacity to manage a variety of administrative and customer service tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with data entry, order processing, and coordinating logistics, including export procedures and LTL freight quotes.

salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  
  
• Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and accurate manner.
  
  
• Enter customer orders into the system with a high level of accuracy.
  
  
• Process incoming purchase orders and confirm receipt with appropriate internal teams.
  
  
• Coordinate and request Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight quotes as needed for outgoing shipments.
  
  
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, update, and manage data related to orders, inventory, and logistics.
  
  
• Assist in preparing export documentation and ensure compliance with export procedures and regulations.
  
  
• Communicate with production, shipping, and sales departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  
  
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files of customer records, quotes, and shipping documentation.
  
  
• Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and supporting other administrative tasks as needed.
