Are you looking to take the next step in your accounting career? We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team at a well-established corporate office in Pompano Beach. This is a great opportunity for someone with a degree in Accounting and up to one year of hands-on experience to gain deeper exposure to the full accounting cycle.
You'll work directly with the Senior Accountant and play a key role in supporting month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy. If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow—this might be the right role for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Complete and troubleshoot bank reconciliations, investigating variances
- Post journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close process
- Run and analyze financial reports for internal and leadership use
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents
- Assist with internal and external audit preparations
- Support process improvements and cross-departmental projects
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the accounting team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Up to 1 year of general accounting experience (internships welcome!)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with spreadsheets and formulas

- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on any unusual variances
- Post journal entries and accruals during the month-end close process
- Run and review various financial reports as part of month-end activities
- Assist with audits and cross-functional accounting projects as needed
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and support documentation
- Follow company safety standards and keep your work area clean and organized
- Take on additional accounting tasks or projects as assigned by the Senior Accountant
