We are partnered with a lead investment company in Boston, MA that is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled accounting professional with experience in open-ended funds to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a hands-on approach, and a deep understanding of fund structures, valuations, and NAV processes.

salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities

 Responsible for monthly pricing, financial reporting, and accounting of Fund's with understanding of the underlying investments.  Prepare and review semi/annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.  Review monthly NAV, financial reporting, timely filing and accounting of Funds with understanding of the underlying investments. Review monthly NAV reporting, concepts and mechanics.  Timely preparation and filing of periodic financials.  Fund and Cash Management, BOD presentations, Fund's liquidity, cash flow analysis, available cash, sources, and uses of liquidity and active oversight.  Preparation of Board of Directors analysis and presentations as needed.  Oversight and management of Fund's available operating cash and payments.  Financial Analytics, understand components of Fund's and underlying investment performance measurements.  Review Fund return/performance analyses, performance attribution, and assist other teams with inquiries as it relates to financial reporting.
