Responsibilities
Accounting:
○ Update wire schedule with inbound wire transactions
○ Update other tracking files
○ Review of JPMC Credit Card reconciliations in Concur
○ Review of select Balance Sheet and Income Statement GL accounts;
identify issues and prepare correcting journal entries and support
○ Audit support June 1 through December 15 – mostly pulling information
from various systems and saving into files, ticking and tying out sample
selection support
● AP Support (as needed):
○ Receive, sort, organize and ensure timely generation and sending of
invoices, payments, receipts and any other financial documentation.
○ Update, maintain, and ensure data entry is accurate and up to date in
PeopleSoft, AvidXchange and OnBase for all transactions.
○ Assist with daily Concourse and Concur related transactions.
○ Review AP transactions for accuracy and completeness.
● Communication/Relationship Development:
○ Handle inquiries from various Stony Brook University departments and
partners to resolve issues.
● Compliance and Documentation:
○ Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards
such as GAAP and IRS Regulations
● General Support:
○ Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support the Accounting team with various projects as needed. Support the
Accounting team with general administrative tasks as needed. Assist in
month-end and fiscal year-end closing processes.
