Responsibilities
- Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing personal injury case files. Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, ensuring all relevant documents are filed correctly.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents. Ensure all documents comply with court requirements and deadlines.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case status and responding to questions. Schedule and coordinate client meetings.
- Research: Conduct legal research and gather pertinent information to support case development.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing calendars, and handling mail.
- Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists.
- 1 year of experience working in an office in an administrative or legal assistant role
