Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and interpret monthly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Contribute to the efficient execution of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Record and validate journal entries, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and timely submission of sales and use tax filings.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering documentation and addressing inquiries.
- Analyze financial performance and deliver meaningful variance analyses to support decision-making.
- Collaborate in the development, monitoring, and reporting of budgets.
- Establish, refine, and enforce accounting procedures and internal control policies.
- Lead, mentor, and support junior accounting team members to foster professional growth.
- Remain informed on evolving accounting standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
