One of Maryland's most respected law firms has a need for a Trusts and Estates Attorney. Position requires (i) a valid license to practice law in Maryland and (ii) at least 3 years of trusts and estates law. Position is hybrid with 3 days in office in Baltimore per week. Compensation includes salary + annual bonus, for total comp up to $160,000. Position includes comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a full range of services including estate and tax planning, family succession planning, business succession planning, charitable planning, pre- and post-marital agreements, administration of estates and trusts, resolution of disputes among family members, litigation in connection with the administration of an estate or trust, and disability planning.
• Development and implementation of estate plans through wills, trusts, financial powers of attorney, appointment of health agents and medical advance directives.
• Draft both basic and sophisticated estate planning documents, including those which incorporate estate and income tax planning.
• Administer probate estates, including the preparation and submission of required filings with the Orphans’ Courts and Registers of Wills.
