Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll using Workday for a multi-state employee population
- Review and resolve payroll tax notices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage employee records including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
- Maintain and audit payroll data for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and external vendors
- Support ad hoc payroll projects and reporting as needed
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance
- Workday experience is required
- Proven ability to handle payroll tax notices and resolve issues promptly
- strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with OSV (OneSource Virtual) and Freshservice
- Prior experience managing payroll for 6,000+ employees
- Familiarity with payroll operations in a shared services or enterprise setting

Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation and processing of exempt (biweekly) multi-state payroll for 6000
employees from start to finish, as part of the team using Workday and OSV
• Reconcile the payroll from period to period
• Calculate pro-rate wages and deductions when necessary, such as hire, termination, status
change
• Ensure tax and payroll deduction withholdings are accurate; understand reciprocity
• Provide guidance on and process Workday retros
• Perform Workday administrative functions which may include testing for integrations specific to
the payroll, time tracking, and absence modules
• Maintain payroll systems and records, ensuring compliance with SOX, federal, state, and local
regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll related issues
• Model best practice components of customer service using ticketing system
• Independently handle all types of tax notices with OSV and tax registrations with various states
and localities
