- Own the month-end close process for assigned accounts
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Handle recurring entries such as prepaid expenses, rent allocations, and deferred revenue
- Download and import weekly credit card transactions into the system
- Reconcile clearing accounts and monitor credit card usage for anomalies or missing receipts
- Support compliance activities, including state reports, licensing, and safety standards
- Maintain vehicle fleet data, tracking renewals and mileage reports
- Participate in annual inventory counts and learn AP/AR processes for broader team support
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on accounting experience, including general ledger and reconciliation work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Post recurring and month-end journal entries including prepaid expenses, rent allocations, and deferred revenue adjustments. Generate monthly financial reports for service centers. Handle weekly credit card expense reporting by downloading and importing transactions, reconciling related GL and clearing accounts, and ensuring compliance with receipt policy. Monitor transactions for completeness and accuracy.
Support company compliance by assisting with the preparation of annual state reports, license renewals, and adherence to business and industry safety standards. Maintain the company’s fleet records, including tracking vehicle assignments, tag renewal due dates, and quarterly mileage reports.
Participate in annual physical inventory counts and cross-train to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed. Collaborate across departments, contribute to ongoing process improvements, and uphold company financial policies and procedures. Work independently with minimal supervision, using sound judgment and attention to detail.
