We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients finance team and help ensure their accounts receivable process runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years of experience with accounts payable, using an ERP system, and be proficient with prcoessesing invoices. Responsibilities

• Support A/P Manager in maintaining payment policies and performance standards
  
  
• Process vendor invoices through automation and ERP systems per approval limits

• Match invoices to freight accruals, resolve discrepancies, and process payments
  
  
• Ensure accurate account and cost center charging for all invoices
  
  
• Investigate and resolve payment issues; reconcile vendor statements
  
  
• Manage debit balances, refunds, and apply necessary adjustments
  
  
• Coordinate with Transportation to process freight vouchers into ERP
  
  
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records
  
  
• Perform 3-way matching for POs, receipts, and invoices
  
  
• Apply payment policies to ensure timely payments and maximize cash discounts
