Responsibilities
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide accurate HR guidance and resources.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including attendance tracking, data entry, and compliance activities using Workday and Kronos.
- Assist in onboarding processes, including I-9 verification and new hire orientation.
- Help facilitate employee morale activities and support employee resource groups (ERGs).
- Guide supervisors through routine HR situations and help resolve ongoing employee matters.
- Maintain communication boards and digital signage across multiple buildings to keep employees informed.
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed to support audits, investigations, and leadership requests.
- Support internal and external requests tied to HR compliance, such as garnishments or documentation for government investigations.
- Assist in creating internal newsletters and communication materials.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in a Generalist or HR coordinator role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with distribution center or manufacturing environments
- Comfortable working with hourly staff and frontline supervisors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint (for editing corporate decks)
- Prior experience with Workday and Kronos (or similar HR systems)
