Responsibilities
1. Safety first - Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Responsible for the safety of individuals on the
team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity.
2. Ensure that all quality, safety, and clean-up procedures are being followed.
3. Apply a continuous improvement mind-set to all operations of the facility.
4. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks as they relate to the maintenance department and in support of
other departments.
5. Assist with scheduling labor to ensure maintenance coverage for all plant operations.
6. Assist in the onboarding/training of maintenance team members.
7. Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability.
8. Conduct regular equipment audits for preventative maintenance
9. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with assignment of work tasks, preventative maintenance, line call coverage
and projects to the maintenance team members and monitoring/supporting completion, quality and safety.
10. Install, repair, and maintain processing and material handling equipments as needed.
11. Control and source maintenance tools, equipment and critical spares coordinating with vendors and
manufacturers as needed.
12. Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on the troubleshooting and evaluation of equipment as needed.
13. Continuously develop and keep maintenance and equipment repair SOPs current
