Responsibilities
- Design, test, check, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronics and electro-mechanical systems, including experimental circuitry, prototypes, and test equipment.
- Test and diagnose issues at both system and component levels for electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems. Perform new system installations, field upgrades, and New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, and layouts to conduct routine testing and troubleshooting. Maintain detailed logbooks and test procedure documentation.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum process testing on client's platforms in accordance with engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Adhere to all safety standards and practices. Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment. Participate in safety training, follow safety protocols, and report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to supervisors or the Safety Department.
- Stay informed about current manufacturing and engineering processes, and assist in problem resolution as needed.
- Perform rework as necessary based on testing outcomes and generate Quality Notifications.
