Responsibilities
- Responsible for complying with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (i.e. BRC, SQF)
- Responsible for supporting the HARPC Team in the implementation of an effective Food Safety plan focused on the elimination of biological, chemical, physical and economically motivated hazards from our foods.
- Responsible for documentation, control, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) including procedures, records, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer requirements
- Works to reduce customer/consumer complaints for foods manufactured on site using root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures
- Responsible for the day to day management of the Tech 3, FSQAs including training and development of team and clear identification of objectives to meet the bakery needs
- Reports food safety and quality issues, corrective actions, and preventive measures to the Manager, FSQA
- Responsible for coaching, development and performance evaluations of all the Tech 3, FSQAs
- Ensures completion of Quality Assurance Procedures Annual review by all FSQA Technologists
- Assist in investigation and disposition of finished product placed on hold as a result of quality issues
- Maintain the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor
- Other duties as assigned
