70-80k Plus Quarterly Bonus
As a Tool and Die Maker you will plan, layout and perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, attachments, machining, molds and gauges. Responsibilities
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production tools including dies, molds, fixtures and factory equipment during production.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production tooling and equipment.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with department team members and other department Managers and Supervisors to ensure all production requirements are met, to promote most efficient operations for all departments, and to ensure company goals are achieved.
- Comply with plant safety rules, policies and regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Perform die assembly and fitting of new and existing tools.
- Work from parts, prints or sketches and verbal instructions, to create parts for tools, replacement parts and factory equipment.
- Set up and operate a variety of machines, including lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders. Use hand tools and measuring instruments.
