Responsibilities
- Welding Operations: Assist in setting up and operating MIG welding equipment under supervision to weld metal components.
- Material Preparation: Prepare metal pieces by cleaning, cutting, and fitting them together according to specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet project specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Assistance: Support senior welders and team members in various tasks, learning techniques and best practices.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining records of work completed, including materials used and any issues encountered.
- Training: Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve welding skills and knowledge of industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to complete projects on time and maintain a productive work environment.
