Local company seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for local company in Solon, OH. All candidates must have Maintenance experience as well as your own tools. Responsibilities

Steel toe - Uniforms - PPE provided as well as yearly allowance for Tools/PPE etc. 



Responsibilites: 

• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance
• Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of an establishment running during production
• Repair or replace defective machinery or parts
• Melting furnace repair and relining
• Operate forklift
• Hot work and lockout/tagout operation
• Profiency with hand tools a must
• Candidate will have welding and hydraulic experience
• Knowledge of PLC is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 60lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time

working weekends
