Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, testing, and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure correct installations and repairs.
- Perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including wiring, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and control panels.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
- Conduct tests and inspections of systems to ensure proper operation after installation or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.
- Calibrate machines and systems to ensure they operate within specified tolerances.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to equipment and processes to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of maintenance programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
