2nd shift forklift .

Randstad is looking for a skilled and dependable 2nd Shift Forklift Operators to join a warehouse team in New Berlin, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and manage products, materials, and supplies efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards.

salary: $20 - $21 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc. • Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
• Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity
• Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork
• Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments
• Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment
• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock
• Keeping shipping supplies organized and communication on supply needs
• Daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift
• Complete other duties or tasks as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
