Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable, skilled mechanic with a strong background in troubleshooting and customer interaction. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for maintaining both our equipment and customer-owned forklifts, providing high-quality repair services.

Key Skills & Abilities Required:

• Fuel Systems Expertise: Proficiency in electric, LP (70% of workload), gas, and diesel systems.
• Hydraulic Repair: Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
• Engine Repair: Experience with engine maintenance, particularly head work.
• Mechanical Proficiency: Ability to inspect, diagnose, maintain, repair, and rebuild pumps, valves, filters, and other components.
• Versatility: Comfortable working on a variety of equipment.
• Organizational Skills: Effective at planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks.
• Availability: Able to work a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, daytime) with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance for contract clients.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot forklifts, from non-functional to new units.
• Complete general repairs on equipment, including oil changes, engine swaps, and rebuilds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Requirements:

• Full set of mechanic’s tools.
• Ability to uphold a clean and safe workspace.
