Responsibilities
The Warehouse Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the purchasing team by managing inventory, handling phone communications, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Support the Purchasing Team: Assist the purchasing team with inventory management, including tracking orders, updating inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers. Vendor Communication: Make calls to suppliers and vendors to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any issues related to shipments or purchase orders. Order Entry and Documentation: Enter purchase orders and received goods into the inventory management system accurately and promptly. Inventory Organization: Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring products are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Quality Checks: Conduct routine checks on received goods to ensure they meet quality standards and report any discrepancies. Administrative Support: Help with filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and purchasing activities. Assist in Daily Operations: Support the warehouse team with receiving, stocking, and shipping as needed.
