A well-established Food Distribution Company in South San Francisco, Ca. is seeking a Working Warehouse Swing/Night Shift Supervisor. We are a growing company that believes in promoting from within, however recent growth has us seeking a qualified candidate from outside. salary: $25 - $35 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 8 PM - 4:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities



Schedule:

Sunday (swing shift) 1pm-9:30pm

Monday to Thursday (night shift) 8pm - 4:30am

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overtime

Duties and responsibilities include managing warehouse operations Sunday through Thursday, inventory control, routing and planning the use of resources such as labor, time, and materials.

Inventory Management - counting boxes quickly and accurately, regular rotation of product inventory (FIFO), perform regular cycle counts, etc.

Working in Cold Storage - regularly working in cooler and freezer environment

Order selecting - scanning completed orders

Load and Unloading trailers - using Forklift and electric Pallet Jacks
Training, managing and motivating warehouse staff

Communication - ability to professionally communicate verbally and electronically with other staff.

Maintaining equipment maintenance records

Meeting deadlines and handling pressure

Drafting emails on the computer, creating, and modifying company documents, procedures, disciplinary actions, etc.
