Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage outbound shipments to customers in North America
• Ensure orders are processed according to company procedures and customer requirements
• Prepare pick lists, work orders, shipping labels, shipping documents, packing lists, BOLs (Bill of Ladling), etc.
• Review, understand, and verify Customer Vendor Compliance and Routing/Shipping Instructions
• Request and evaluate freight quotes from various carriers and make decisions as to which shipping method will be most appropriate and cost effective
• Arrange and follow up with carrier pickups
• Process shipments with truckers (TL and LTL), UPS, and FedEx
• Communicate shipping information to customers
• Troubleshoot issues or delivery delays
• Manage some international shipments
• Other shipping and transportation tasks as assigned
• Other admin duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience working with FedEx Ship manager or UPS World Shipis required
• SAP or other Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Previous experience in logistics coordination or related area preferred
