Responsibilities
- Repairs hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves of all types, sizes, and makes from both mobile and industrial applications. May also be responsible for repair of hydraulic breakers (hammers).
- Most of the work is done on a bench and in house
- Will disassemble and evaluate components for repair
- Experience in accurate measurement with the use of calipers, micrometers, etcA willingness to learn, find solutions, and share knowledge with peers
- Assembly of components
- Testing of components
- Able to read and understand parts sheets, service instructions, etc
- High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well verbally as well as prepare detailed write-ups accurately and consistently in regard to component evaluations
