Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret proofs and shop drawings
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using standard tape measure
• Use metal cutting and clean welding techniques to assemble metal signs
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Follow directions and clearly communicate with team members

• Cut aluminum sheets using a shear
• Cut Aluminum extrusions using a chop saw
• Use a drill press and hand drill to drill holes per specifications.
• Use a laminator to help apply graphics to create the sign
• Assemble sign panels to create overall final size
• Rig and move heavy materials using forklifts or other equipment
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SIGN FABRICATION EXPERIENCE

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 9 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
