Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components, including motors, controllers,sensors, and PLCs, on CNC machines.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing functionality andsafety of CNC equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns in a timelymanner to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement upgrades,modifi cations, and improvements to CNC machines.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory related to CNC electrical systems.
Requirements:
Must have experience working with 480V 3-phase step-down electrical systems.
Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on CNC machine maintenance,preferably in a manufacturing or machining environment.
strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and circuits, with the ability toread and interpret schematics and blueprints.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Familiarity with CNC machine controls, such as Cincinnati, Siemens, or Haas, is highlydesirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach tomaintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced productionenvironment.
