Position Overview: As an Aircraft Structural Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and fabricating structural components of aircraft. You’ll ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and company protocols to maintain operational excellence.
salary: $25 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities
- Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components
- Drill, ream, and countersink full-size holes in parts and assemblies in the proper sequence to the correct size
- Using hand tools, pilot holes, or by hand per drawing or instructions
- Select drill bits, reamers, and/or countersinking tools for pilot and full-size holes
- Align parts and secure in place
- Install fasteners in the correct sequence per drawing using the correct tools
- A&P license preferred
- Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment
- GSE build and operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to take measurements using precision tools such as gauge pins, micrometers, depth gauges, scales, calipers, ball gauges, etc.
- Previous experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies
- Ability to design and fabricate his/her tooling necessary for safe/complete operations
- Experience supervising large lifts and rigging
- Previous experience with component-level builds and tests including proofing, ATP, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in-situ on the floor and redline changes for engineering
- Work closely with engineers to develop and implement operational, design, and work instruction improvements
