Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing processes through daily analysis of activities including tooling selections, cutting & programming processes/techniques, improved fixturing, internal communications, supply chain selection/coordination and documentation.
- Capacity and capabilities planning to support company growth and capabilities.
- Provide backlog planning and daily scheduling of work in accordance with management and customer expectations.
- Support sourcing of production needs if required to meet customer expectations (e.g., outsourcing to strategic partners).
- Quote jobs and report results to Program Manager.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle and manage several priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to switch from production to prototype and back.
- Coordinate production schedule and collaborate with Program Manager & Machine Shop Manager.
- Working knowledge of all production equipment and ability to program, set up and operate.
